Sales Representative – Corporate Multi-Location Accounts

Gotta Go Waste & Recycling is a leading regional provider of waste and recycling services in the Louisville metropolitan area. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our growing team. This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding our commercial waste services by targeting and securing new corporate multi-location accounts.

About the Role:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with corporate multi-location clients across the Louisville metro area. This is a hunter role that requires a strategic approach to sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within the waste management, logistics, or a related service industry.

Responsibilities: 

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and research potential corporate multi-location accounts that align with Gotta Go Waste & Recycling’s service offerings.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans, utilizing various channels including cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives, facility managers, procurement teams, and other relevant stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Needs Assessment & Solution Design: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client waste and recycling requirements and collaboratively develop customized solutions that address their specific challenges and objectives.
  • Proposal Development & Presentation: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations outlining Gotta Go Waste & Recycling’s value proposition, service capabilities, and competitive advantages.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations, overcome objections, and successfully close new business deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes within the waste and recycling sector.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing satisfaction for new accounts.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to management.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or relevant record of sales experience.
  • 3-5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on new business development and corporate accounts.
  • Experience in the waste management, recycling, logistics, or a related service industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Drives truck with trailer, hauling equipment to and from garage/storage to work sites
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Positions chains, straps, and binders to secure loads during transit
  • Loads and unloads equipment on trailers
  • Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintains logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Maintains and checks truck, trailer, and supplies to ensure road-worthiness
  • Able to identify mechanical problems that may occur
  • Self Motivated with the ability to make split decisions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in construction or a similar field
  • (2) to (4) years of experience as a Truck Driver, preferably for a low-bed hauler
  • Valid Class A CDL and satisfactory driving record required per Company policy

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license

We are currently seeking a detail oriented and motivated individual for our Project Manager position located within our excavation and utility division. The ideal candidate must be a positive, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Be responsible for the overall project including cost, schedule, quality, safety and promoting a good relationship with the client.
  • Be willing to make site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality control and adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues and conflicts, implementing effective solutions and contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to senior management while also identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing project profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, and facilitate necessary inspections and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources
  • Use the company’s computer system, records, files, and programs for estimating and project management, as needed.
  • Be able to work within tight time restraints to quickly place bids on jobs or help determine the cost feasibility.
  • Work with superintendents, review daily job reports, assist with identifying site-specific safety concerns

Basic purpose of position:  Transport open top and compact containers for proper disposal at the landfill/Transfer Station. Your responsibilities include handling pick up, hauling, checking the container, completing reports, and complying with all transportation laws and procedures.

Expectation:  We expect all employees to be committed to a high standard of safety, be able to comply with all safety policies/rules and willing to effectively enforce those rules. Individuals performing this function must be able to manage the development and implementation of safety training in support of the corporate safety program.  Individuals must be able to

Responsibilities: 

  • Drivers will service customers hauling off waste of various size dumpsters
  • Drivers will drop off dumpsters at the location of customers’ requests.
  • Drivers will be required to use an internal map system for dumpster delivery and pickup
  • Drivers will enter in and out of the truck multiple times per day
  • Drivers will be required to hook up dumpster containers and safely secure them before moving
  • Drivers could expect non-traditional hours including weekends depending on customer needs
  • Required to follow all DOT rules and procedures

Education Requirements:

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of industry experience or similar in a relatable field.

Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training: 

  • Valid/Current Class A or B required
  • Ability to read and understand directions and maps
  • Ability to pass a road test evaluation
  • 3 to 5 years of CDL experience required
  • General Knowledge of maintenance with trucks preferred
  • Experience operating in off-road conditions

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support the administrative and operational functions of our safety department. This role is essential in maintaining safety records, coordinating compliance efforts, and promoting a culture of safety across all companies. The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in upholding safety standards and ensuring the well-being of all employees.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Implement safety policies and procedures tailored to the organization’s operations and responsibilities.
  • Assist with safety onboarding, training sessions and workshops for employees.
  • Maintain documentation and provide administrative support for inspections, training logs, safety meetings, incident reports, and audits.
  • Provide administrative support and attend safety meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory, distribution, and upkeep of personal protective equipment (PPE) under the supervision of the Safety Director.
  • Assist with maintaining emergency response plans including evacuation, fire safety, and first aid, and incident/accident reporting procedures.
