JOB DUTIES:
- Drives truck with trailer, hauling equipment to and from garage/storage to work sites
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Positions chains, straps, and binders to secure loads during transit
- Loads and unloads equipment on trailers
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintains logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintains and checks truck, trailer, and supplies to ensure road-worthiness
- Able to identify mechanical problems that may occur
- Self Motivated with the ability to make split decisions
- Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice
- Ensuring that safety practices are followed
- Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in construction or a similar field
- (2) to (4) years of experience as a Truck Driver, preferably for a low-bed hauler
- Valid Class A CDL and satisfactory driving record required per Company policy
- Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license
- 21 years of age required
- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations

We are looking for a go-getter that is passionate about driving growth and opportunity for the company. This candidate would coordinate with the heavy equipment manager & shop team members to ensure efficiency and productivity to meet quality standards in a timely manner.
JOB DUTIES:
- Operate off-road heavy equipment
- Repair heavy equipment on site
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, specifically with Caterpillar, John Deere and Komatsu diagnostic systems
- Perform engine swaps and rebuild engines at company discretion
- Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components
- Rebuild hydraulic lines and install hoses
- Read electrical schematics
- Knowledge of Tier IV emissions requirements
- Weld, cut, and fabricate equipment and components
- Develop and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules for all heavy equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to allow safe movement and access
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and functions
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum 10 + years of mechanical experience on heavy equipment
- Must be able to drive a manual service truck
- Complete all detailed maintenance records of each service completed in compliance with DOT requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license
- CDL Preferred – or ability to train and receive CDL
- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations

Overview:
Dan Cristiani Excavating is a leading contractor with over 55 years of experience in utility construction and excavation services across the Midwest. Mechanical Laborer is an entry-level, hands-on role that supports mechanical and industrial construction work. This position assists with equipment setting, piping installation, flange bolting, gasket installation, material handling, and grouting preparation once equipment is set level and plumb. The Mechanical Laborer works under the supervision of experienced mechanical trades while learning safe and efficient jobsite practices.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist with setting, positioning, and preparing equipment such as pumps, motors, and tanks.
- Help ensure equipment is level and plumb using basic tools and under direction from experienced mechanical trades.
- Support flange piping installation, bolt-up procedures, gasket installation, flange alignment, and tightening bolts.
- Help prepare and place grout to secure equipment equipment foundations.
- Perform material handling, general labor, cleanup, and support duties as assigned on industrial and construction job sites.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and experienced trades while learning mechanical construction skills.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work areas.
- Follow all company safety policies, job site rules, and required PPE expectations.
- Work outdoors and in physically demanding jobsite conditions as needed.
- Perform additional job duties as as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanical background or hands-on experience with cars, trucks, machinery, small engines, tools, or equipment preferred.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual for our Project Manager/Sr Project Manager position. The ideal candidate will be a positive, self-motivated professional with the ability to multitask and effectively manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Be responsible for overall project performance including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain project schedules, proactively addressing delays, conflicts, risks, and operational challenges.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality control, safety, and adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, prepare financial reporting and forecasting, and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, permits, inspections, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop cost-effective project plans and schedules while coordinating manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and material needs to support operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and communication with clients, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership.
- Work with superintendents and field personnel to review daily job reports, identify site-specific safety concerns, and support project execution.
- Read and interpret civil plans, perform quantity take-offs, request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes, and assist with estimating and bid preparation.
- Work within tight deadlines to prepare bids, evaluate project feasibility, and support operational decision-making.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to field crews and team members assigned to projects.
- Hold crews and team members accountable for safety, quality, productivity, workmanship, and adherence to company expectations and project requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact between field personnel, superintendents, project management, office staff, vendors, and clients to maintain effective communication and workflow.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of project management, estimating, construction operations, and related job responsibilities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Procore, and other industry-related software.
- Knowledge of project budgeting, financial reporting, and job cost accounting.
- 3+ years of estimating, project management, construction operations, or related experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Basic purpose of position: Transport open top and compact containers for proper disposal at the landfill/Transfer Station. Your responsibilities include handling pick up, hauling, checking the container, completing reports, and complying with all transportation laws and procedures.
Expectation: We expect all employees to be committed to a high standard of safety, be able to comply with all safety policies/rules and willing to effectively enforce those rules. Individuals performing this function must be able to manage the development and implementation of safety training in support of the corporate safety program. Individuals must be able to
Responsibilities:
- Drivers will service customers hauling off waste of various size dumpsters
- Drivers will drop off dumpsters at the location of customers’ requests.
- Drivers will be required to use an internal map system for dumpster delivery and pickup
- Drivers will enter in and out of the truck multiple times per day
- Drivers will be required to hook up dumpster containers and safely secure them before moving
- Drivers could expect non-traditional hours including weekends depending on customer needs
- Required to follow all DOT rules and procedures

Dan Cristiani Excavating is a leading contractor with over 55 years of experience in utility construction, excavation, and heavy civil construction throughout the Midwest. The Structural Concrete Form Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, aligning, and dismantling formwork systems used in concrete construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring concrete structures are built safely, accurately, and according to project specifications while maintaining quality and productivity on the jobsite.
JOB DUTIES:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, grades, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, or prefabricated concrete forms.
- Construct and install forms for footings, foundations, walls, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural concrete elements.
- Install and secure embedded items such as anchor bolts, sleeves, inserts, and other fixtures.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bracing of forms prior to concrete placement.
- Inspect formwork for accuracy, stability, and compliance with project specifications.
- Strip and remove forms after concrete has cured while minimizing damage and maximizing reuse.
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing activities as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, operators, and other trades to ensure work progresses efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and properly utilize required PPE.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as a form carpenter, concrete carpenter, or related construction position preferred.
- Strong understanding of concrete formwork systems and material ( wood, steel, aluminum forms)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices OSHA standards
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- We are seeking a Utility Division Foreman who will be responsible for overseeing a crew that works directly installing water, sewer, and storm utilities.
- A Class-A CDL is desired.
- The ideal candidate must be able to read prints, develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
- Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work, monitors quality assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards.
- Experience (2+ years) in trench shoring & installing water, sewer, and storm utilities.
- Must have experience running a crew of 4 to 5.
- Equipment operating experience running an excavator, trencher, dozer etc.
- Individual must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
- Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week.
- We are currently looking for experienced utility operators who have a thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation for utilities, water, sewer & storm.
- Experience using trench shoring equipment and experience using a variety of different sizes of excavators.
- Ability to grade slopes, bench cut, shoot grade, etc.
- Preferred experience reading blueprints and grades.
- Ability to complete rough grading, qualified to dig trenches, benching, and backfilling.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary
- Work with ground personnel and assist with groundwork, if necessary, in the excavation and installation process of laying pipe online and grade.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs. Must be able to climb and squat.
- Individual must be able to work in inclement weather conditions and ensures safety practices are followed.
- Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week.
